  • Hm. I have heard some people having luck with the frost bolts (don't remember the exact name here)
  • Wizard of Legend is pretty amazing
  • @Peppermaster I think the magic box would be a good explanation. And it seems I will have to find Solomon Dark in my folders and check out the lore then. Thanks!
  • @Peppermaster Yeah.. I see the problem. The shopping app sounds pretty far fetched though. Maybe the Rogues consumables could have a small mana bar on their own? Make it so that he creates his own grenades/traps/whatever when he’s got the time, …
  • @Peppermaster Here I come, disturbing the peace again :D While I know this is not for me, I would like to share my 2 cents on this. If we look at some big games, like The Witcher 3 and Horizon: Zero Dawn, these both utilize consumeables like grenad…
  • @Peppermaster Hm, I see. Yeah, some spells don’t really work out properly. I am, however, not sure I have more on this subject right now. I can try thinking of remaking boulder in some way, but I’m not sure it should be a boulder. And well, if it s…
  • @Peppermaster Hm - you may be right there. But hailstone would still great as combined elements, right? About tweaking numbers, it isn’t ‘just’ doing that, but yet another job that takes time, and a lot of tries before getting it right. What I mean…
  • @Peppermaster Oooh! I see! So just as a subskill for crowd control. But yeah, the current boulder is not really that viable. The shrapnel idea came to me as I read your post, and I thought it could be cool, as well as easier to make better use of t…
  • @Peppermaster Hm - I think this would just make me use the shrapnel only.. So how about just making it shrapnel? Unless the boulder blocks arrows by default. Then the defence would be pretty good. Maybe something like this: Stone shrapnel Shoot…
  • @IluvSB Not yet my friend, still in the making. This is just pepper wanting to lay down his thoughts on the different classes and hear out our thoughts as well.
  • @Jarhead Well - tbh I have never experienced that you keep the rings if you exit. It is part of how the game is made. (Before the big update, there was a perk that allowed you to keep your rings if you die, but only if you die)
  • @Peppermaster I did mean like solomon raiding the town/castle randomly. And well, you’re right :p And yeah, it would be a cool graveyard mode.
  • @Peppermaster I was thinking - in SB, the wizards have a castle of their own, and they still have it at the time of SKUME, right? Maybe it could be an event happening - Solomon sieging the castle with a fixed army from time to time. Maybe even with …
  • @Peppermaster I see! Although - how about making Rally/Disband based on wether Samurai has Yumi or Katana equipped? That way, when katana is equipped, it is easier for allies to follow Samurai into the enemies, and when yumi is equipped, it is easi…
  • Just a stray thought - (it sounds awesome btw) Samurai were pretty well educated (mostly on military strategy), and often served as Officers in the armies. So how about an attack that weakens the enemy in some way? Or a battle cry to inspire your a…
  • That sounds pretty awesome
  • @peppermaster How do you feel about totems? (I’m thinking like those in World of Warcraft that you place and then they emit a buff/debuff in an area)
  • @Peppermaster My bad! I meant Fire + Cold! Revolving Boulder: Well, they are supposed to be powerful, are they not? They could be mostly earth boulders when not using mana and solid, thus reflecting arrows. Then, when expending mana, the boulders …
  • @Peppermaster Lava wave: ah, in that way! I was not sure what you meant with the first description. I see what you mean then! Revolving builder: oh! So it would feel like an asteroid field (maybe with the ether boulders emerging from an ether portal…
  • @Peppermaster Okay, that sounds pretty awesome! I’m a bit concerned as to how the different subskills would work together though. Revolving boulder: Okay, I can see this working on the ether part, but what about earth? (Okay, the others could work…
  • @Peppermaster 1. Oh well, I must admit that I have not played Solomon Dark too much. After some thinking, I am not sure of how much should be changed about the combat, since one of the (to me) joys of the solomon games is having one or two spells …
  • @Peppermaster Paladin stuff: I agree! I am just wondering a bit whether or not the shield could be abused, for example by blocking an entrance. And then again, maybe that would not be so bad. (I do see a bit of griefing potential here though) Buf…
  • Other pretty cool ideas: For the Paladin: a shield that can be placed or a shield-like ability that will absorb a lot of damage from one direction Since there is now co-op: Interaction between characters. It would be cool if there were some inter…
  • There might be a focus on some of these points already, but here are my 5 cents on this topic: 1. Diversity in combat: Okay, this might sound a bit too broad, but something games like the witcher 3 and horizon: zero dawn do pretty well (I’m probabl…
  • Do keep in mind that you can only transfer items 2-3 times (I think it goes: real - surreal - ethereal - unreal) Up to ethereal there is no change in it’s effect, but at unreal it becomes unusable
  • Well, in keep, the lategame relies a lot on the items you have gathered. First of all, due to the wonderful magic closets, it is possible to grind up items such as the 45% damage reduction rings and the +3 to all stats staff (and the +2 to all stats…
  • I would like to as well!
  • Anyway, with frost+fire it will behave like frost jet but drop embers and explode when you kill With frost+lightning it will get all of the subskills, although it will be in a straight line, but hitting everyone in that line, lightning arching from …
