Information about new Solomon's Keep so far

For those who hungers for more Solomon contents, I have summarized all confirmed information (unless Mr. Raptis changes his mind) about the new Solomon's Keep based on Mr. Raptis' response and blog posts.

Note: These information are subject to change.

Wizard class

1. Earth magic will not be on the new Solomon's Keep but it maybe added later like ice magic did. 
2. Welding magic may get a slight change
3. (speculation) Magic Circle might also give damage reduction.

Necromancer class

1. You will be able to turn your skeletons into buring version of it. (it is a black magic skill)
2. You will be able to turn into "lichform". 
3. The skill tree is divided into Curses, Black Magic(demon related stuff), and Necromancy
4. There will be rat summoning skill in Black Magic category
5. You can summon normal, archer, warrior, or mage skeletons in the game.

Paladin class

1. Paladin skill tree is divided into Offense, Defense, and Faith
2. (speculation) Based on Monday Screenshot 5/11, Whirlwind might be on the game
3. Based on some blog posts, Some of the skills of Paladin are Weapon Mastery, Counterstriking, Blade Specialty, Prayer, Turn Undead, Hammer of Light, Lance of Faith

Rogue

1. Rouge's skill tree is divided into Archery, Rougery, Treasure Hunting.
2. Currently, Rouge is the least developed class right now. 

Item 

1. Items will have more unique properties other than +1 siege mage or +2 damage
2. (speculation) Runes might be implemented in the new game.
3. There are Books that can be used to level up skills.

Monsters

1. Besides the new monsters from Solomon Dark (spiders, coffin, heartmonger, dire faculty, imp portal etc) there will also be vermin as a new enemy type.
2. We can kill Solomon's mother. (solomon will literally be a motherless &@!#$%#) 
3. Also, there will be new zombie and demon bosses too.
4. Solomon rides the monoculous.

Others

1. There will be spikes and other traps. (other than those imp chests)
2. There will be some objects that you can interact to get either benefits or harms.
3. Backpack will look quite similar to diablo style.
4. There will be an arena mode in the boneyard.
5. Random quests will also be there

Comments

  • Mostly correct... but all subject to change!

    No whirlwind for Paladin. :)

    Rat summoning... not exactly.  You'll see!  It's more of an ambient skill.

    Druid and Samurai classes are also planned for later release.




  • Additional Information about SKHD

    1. There may be bonus for reaching max level of a spell.

    2. Bribe Destiny will not be in the SKHD unless you use a mod

    3. Perks will be in SKHD

    4. SKHD will have multiplayer.

    5. Gauntlet Mode will make players to venture into the depths of Hell.

    6. There will not be an actual editor in SKHD. (that does not mean it is not modable)

    7. It will be still possible to end the game within one hour (by ignoring various side quest and farming).

    8. Achievements will give some sort of in-game reward
  • im not sure why you left out that there will be a new boss called peppermaster, who is OP and will make you throw your computer across the room in frustration
