Well, SKHD is a complete rewrite. The original SK was written for iPhone 1, and thus has a lot of limitations in it-- to get an idea of how much more advanced SKHD will be, find the Solomon Dark download and examine some of the effects, etc, that c…

He got blown to smithereens at the end of Solomon's Keep. I hope nobody ever tries to gather up all his body parts and artifacts with the intent of busting him out of hell.

Well, Boneyard + Keep will definitely be porting. I am wavering on RwK. The ports to 64-bit have been so difficult that I actually think it would not be TOO much longer to write a whole new version (and using a different theme so that I don't have…

Probably not Dark. What's more likely is I will fold it as a minigame into Keep HD, without the story or scripting.

Some of these aren't bad... let's revisit this when I actually sit down to do the archer. If we do it too early it'll get lost to the mists of time. I will post a thread when I'm ready to do the archer, because while I have a good and coherent vis…

Making a skill tied to items is a possibility (the paladin's shield skills, for instance, rely on holding a shield), so I am putting it into the mix... A hook shot I somewhat dislike because it's functionally a limited teleport spell. But used as …

They are sized for the news screens, which looks pretty cool.

I typed "before" but meant to type "between."

So a lot of these are already in the skill tree... but here's a problem: 2. Smoke Bomb 3. Repulsion Mine 9. Box full of surprise See, now these are "objects." While other games go ahead and do this, it's an inconsistency I don't want to have in K…

The rogue DOES have dodging, hiding, and spotting skills-- but it's hard to make a full skill tree out of them. You can hide in corners, then upgrade that so that your next attack while hiding is devastating... and then you can have a dodge skill. …

Well, the rogue's "unique" talent is to set traps. The general idea is that one optional way to play the rogue is to sort of play it like a tower defense. I don't really want to make the rogue a drug addict! ;) Also, Solomon really is a jerk. Hi…

They still sell it on some strange networks, but they don't offer it anywhere significant any more, and it doesn't really generate much income any more (but if it they ever take it off ALL their networks, the contract is broken and it falls back to …

Sorry, didn't see this, and been working on the ports... I don't think iOS will give you the new version on an old device. But there's nothing significantly new in the new versions... they're just adapted to the new screen size, and they allow you …

>>1. Does Solomon has a wife and a son? If so, do we get to kill his wife as a hidden boss or something? Spoilers! >>2. Why is the necromancer helping Morius and Wizard University to get rid of Solomon? Shouldn't the player necromance…

Mostly correct... but all subject to change! No whirlwind for Paladin. :) Rat summoning... not exactly. You'll see! It's more of an ambient skill. Druid and Samurai classes are also planned for later release.

I appreciate this, but if you donate this much, let's organize some system so I can give you some free stuff or some other perk!
-
Thanks Duck! I appreciate it... but you can just wait for Solomon's Keep HD... it's basically a rewrite with TONS more stuff put in.

The iOS update has one final persistent bug that I'm working on-- and this is only Keep, not even up to Boneyard yet! The Android version is actually in better shape. :(
-
It's going into testing tomorrow-- if nothing goes wrong.
-
It's very likely I'd have to examine each level for error, just in case one thing or another didn't get converted. Thus my preference that players police their own.
-
Well, I could-- but I'd rather be investing my time in working on new products. Also, there's about 50,000 levels, and I bet only about 2,000-3,000 of them are worth saving.
-
FOMB: if you have a way to get the levels onto a PC (with iPhone explorer or something) I might be able to do something. But straight from iOS, no, some of the sizes of container variables that are embedded into the levels have changed, and they th…

Yes, the iOS11 update is nearly done-- it's been moved to my new code that ports to android automagically. So as soon as the iOS update is fully done, I'll drop some APKs here. I won't give a date, but very soon, soon enough that those who private…

You should probably dig up Solomon Dark, which is an unfinished game that was supposed to take place before Boneyard and Keep. The remake of Keep (HD) will add a lot of optional story quests to take, but won't add significantly to the story. I hav…

I'll upload one after I survive the 32-bit graveyard.

If you had changed the level significantly, it'd be okay, but if it's just changing the boss's appearance, the userbase will actually end up reporting it as "abusive"

Hi Real Mushy, are you familiar with the registry editor? If you change the Hamsterball fullscreen key to be windowed, it might solve your problem.
-
Okay, slight update... it's ported both to Android and iOS 11, I am just chasing down some problem with loading the save games that causes it to crash at random spots at random times. That's the last bug before I drop some apks, but it's a doozy, v…

It's days. I have to finish the iOS11 version first, because of the Apple deadline, but the second I do I will drop an Android version.

If you think $4.99 is too high, then buy one of the three things I've listed above quickly, before the update goes out. The ultra-low price for quality games isn't sustainable... it's slow death for developers. That's why everyone's gone over to a…
