Chuzzle 2 Is Released

Chuzzle 2 is now released for iOS and Android! You should be able to see it on the app store/Google Play as it propagates. Thank you all beta for your assistance, and thank you forum members for your support. I intend to have a Chuzzle 2 update to fix whatever turns up wrong in the live version this year, and now I begin the watching game to see if I have the cash flow to finally get my Solomon Magnum Opus out!

Chuzzle 2 crash bug

So far Chuzzle 2 has exceeded my expectations. I am surprised how you used such simple mechanisms to make players experience such diverse gameplay. Anyway, I found one bug but it isn’t a gamebreaking bug. Here is what it is: when you press homescreen or go to other app while you are on chuzzarium and then open chuzzle 2 again, the game crashes.

Okay, so... Chuzzle 2 is only inches away from being in a state where I can release it.

Note that there are a few things requested that will go into the first update. In particular, all the little funny things you can do the Chuzzles like shake them and poke them are turned off at the moment because modern touchscreens are causing behaviors I don't expect. Those will be turned back on in the first update. I also intend to add puzzles and minigames for a fairly long duration, since they're fast to do, fun to add, and I have a pretty long list of them!

So I think Chuzzle 2 will be submitted to Apple for approval pretty soon, with my intention being to release it on [date redacted].

For those who watch my moves like a hawk, I plan to spend the rest of 2018 making a Chuzzle update, and also playing around with Web Assembly... with the intention of making everything playable in a web page too!

Okay, that's all for now... I'll update with anything major. After release, I'll keep everyone posted on how things are going, and I'll post a project schedule as soon as I gauge Chuzzle 2's performance.

have you considered adding a zen mode down the road to chuzzle 2? maybe with an option to pick a custom amount of columns and rows. then you'd just have an endless match making fest at your own pace.

Today, im just watch the raptisoft forums, and i have found the new category: Chuzzle 2. It is a real project ? I can't wait Hoggy 2 coming out, and solomon's keep remake, hamsterball 2, sequel of robot wants kitty, and, yes !!! Chuzzle 2 ! Do you plan to create the new ip in the furture ?

I would certainly buy it through Steam instead of through my phone's app store. I felt the same with Plants vs. Zombies 2, but it was never released on that platform, sadly. Hopefully there will be enough demand for Chuzzle 2 to be released on PC.
